Creating Artwork for Your Direct Mail Campaign

Working with Your Art Files
We’ll work with everything from native InDesign files to high-resolution PDFs. We accept Mac and PC files including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PDF, and graphic formats TIF, EPS, JPEG, and PNG. Sending files is easy through our SFTP site.
Direct Mail Artwork Proofing Process
Proofing your piece is an exciting part of the direct mail process. It’s when you get to see how great your direct mail campaign is going to look coming off the press. It’s also the time to catch any last-minute mistakes in copy, photos, or colors. Any mistakes caught during proofing are very easily fixed before production begins. We’re here to help you out every step of the way!
Preflight and Mail Acceptance Setup
All art files received from you or produced by us for you are inspected using our 20-point checklist. This list checks for bleeds, live-image area, resolution, mailing classification requirements, and other elements to make sure there’s accurate pre-press file preparation. We’ll accept your files using most commercially standard transfer protocols and we also offer SFTP.
Once the art files have gone through our preflight process, we’ll email you a proof of your final project. Once you approve the final artwork, your mail starts going to our press! If your project has variable data, we’ll always send you a proof of the data lasered on the art.

What if I have my own artwork to give you? What’s the process like?
We’re happy to get art files from you! It’s actually our preferred way of handling artwork, and the process is easy peasy. Sending files is quick and secure through our SFTP site. You can also use Dropbox, WeTransfer, or other commercially standard file-sharing tools. We accept Mac and PC files including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PDF, and graphic formats TIF, EPS, JPEG, and PNG. The higher the resolution the better!
Do you have a limit on the number of proofs I can see to approve a job for printing?
Nope! We want to make sure that you’re comfortable with the art files and data we’re going to press with for your campaign.
